Job summary

The role includes creating daily to monthly production plans, coordinating with procurement, warehouse and production teams to prevent delays, and compiling performance metrics for local management and HQ; fluent Japanese is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Japanese with verbal and written communication.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of working experience in production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience using ERP/MSS systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the local factory and HQ in Japan regarding production capacity, planning adjustments, shipment and delivery timelines.
• Create and manage daily, weekly, or monthly production schedules based on customer orders and raw material availability.
• Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, warehouse, production) to meet shipment and prevent production delays.
• Compile production data and shipping metrics to present clear performance reports to both local management and HQ.
