Job summary

ASE Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Planner to oversee forecast fulfillment, demand, and output commitments, ensuring OTD and cycle times meet customer expectations. You will coordinate scheduling for assigned customers, monitor loading trends, and drive improvements to shorten lead times.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in a related field or a diploma with 3 years' experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Managing the overall production control activities on forecast fulfillment, demand and output commitment, OTD and cycle time.
• Responsible for planning of assigned customers scheduling orders, deliveries and ensuring delivery requirements are achieved.
• Review, analyze and optimize forecast/demand vs actual loading trend.
• Ensure customer requirements are documented and meeting specification.
• Verify information on travelers and issuing forms.
• Drive production for shorter cycle time and OTD performance.
• Communicate status of products with ASE Sales/customers in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate customers' reports in a timely manner.
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and revise schedules after internal review.
• Communicate ad hoc urgent customer requests with ASE internal personnel to support needs.

Review, analyze and optimize customers' forecast / demand vs actual loading trend.

Ensure customer requirements / special instructions are documented and meeting specification.

Responsible to verify information on travelers and other issuing forms.

Driving production for shorter cycle time and OTD performance.

Communicate status of products with ASE Sales / customers in timely manner.

Provide accurate customers' reports in timely manner.

Expedite operations that delay schedules and provide revise schedules to customer after internal review.

Communicate customer's ad hoc urgent request with ASE internal relevant personnel in order to support customer needs.

Qualification & Experience:

Degree in related discipline or Diploma with 3 years related working experience.
