Job summary

Chroma Gas Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Malaysia is seeking a dedicated gas refilling operator to support daily production. You will carry out refilling activities, prepare cylinders, and monitor safety and quality throughout the process.

No prior experience required; training provided. Candidates should be able to follow instructions, work hands-on, and cooperate with a small team. Benefits include EPF, SOCSO, EIS, medical insurance and paid medical leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Experience in production, manufacturing or industrial gas will be an advantage.
• Willing to perform hands-on and physical work.
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Responsible, punctual and disciplined.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily gas refilling activities according to company procedures and safety requirements
• Assist in cylinder refilling
• Prepare and check cylinders before and after refilling
• Operate valves, hoses and gas filling equipment according to established procedures
• Monitor pressure and filling conditions during the refilling process
• Record daily gas filling and production information accurately
• Perform basic inspection of cylinders, valves and filling equipment
• Ensure proper handling and storage of gas cylinders
• Report any gas leakage, equipment abnormality or unsafe condition to the supervisor immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the filling and production areas

Key responsibilities

Assist in cylinder refilling
