Job summary

Chroma Gas Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Chemical Engineer to join the Specialty Gas Production Department. You will support gas production, blending, filling, quality control and documentation to meet specifications and safety standards.

The role involves preparing formulations, maintaining worksheets, and coordinating with the lab for analyses. Fresh graduates are welcome, with hands-on production exposure and basic IT skills. English and Bahasa Malaysia are used in daily tasks.

• Ensure production activities are carried out according to SOPs, work instructions and safety requirements.
• Assist in maintaining production equipment and arranging calibration or preventive maintenance when required.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Engineering or related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Good numerical and problem-solving skills.

Willing to work hands-on in a production/manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of specialty gases, gas blending, laboratory analysis or ISO systems will be an added advantage.

Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsible, detail-oriented, safety-conscious and willing to learn.
