Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Product Life Cycle Manager for LED products. The role involves end-to-end lifecycle management, yield data analysis, and collaboration with R&D, Process Engineering, and Production to ensure target yields and smooth product releases.

Candidate should have a degree in engineering and at least 5 years in LED manufacturing or semiconductors, with IC knowledge as an advantage. Fluency in multiple languages may be beneficial for coordinating with Europe and China teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Product Life Cycle for LED products (with/without built-in IC).
• Lead yield data collection, analysis, target setting and forecast.
• Oversee product status and involve R&D for new releases to avoid manufacturing spill.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering/Chip Change/Production to improve yield.
• Update and revise product BOM, setup new products and PFMEA documentation.
• Support low-complexity projects and change initiatives (chip changes, new derivatives).
• Serve as contact point for customer change requests (biasing, test conditions).
• Drive productivity improvement projects.
• Oversee PVDB static changes and test program updates.
• Monitor static distribution and optimize specs to prevent failures.
• Lead/ support quality issues and traceability across materials and processes.
• Coordinate annual reliability monitoring submission.

Responsible & Manage Product Life Cycle for LED products (with /without built-in IC). Knowledge & Technical Know-How on IC will be an added advantage.

Responsible for product yield data, yield data analysis, yield target setting and forecast yield setting. Overview of product status, early involvement in R&D new release product to ensure no manufacturing/ production spill.Drive & work together with Process Engineering/Chip Change/Production team on product yield improvement activities to ensure product yield target is achieve.

Responsible for the update/revise of product BOM, new product 11series setup, product accounting standard, product flow chart & product failure catalogue and PFMEA.Participate & support in the low complex projects / change project activities, such as chip change/phase in, new derivative products and etc. Contact point for customer new requirement change/ add-on, such as change product biasing/test condition, etc. Drive/participate in productivity improvement projects.

To be responsible for PVDB static changes, include review PVDB static changes and approve the change & request for test program update.

To monitor static distribution, drive for static spec optimization to prevent invalid failure and for abnormality detection.To be responsible for FBA/ AFBA maverick procedure, maverick lot disposition and drive for improvement (RC, CA and PA)- machine over reject, invalid improvement, process or chip related issues.

To lead/ support internal/ external quality issues: To support & involve on product traceability (Backwards/ forward), material traceability, process traceability, machine traceability, panel tracebility and etc, support risk assessment, shipment halt activities and etc.To coordinate yearly reliability monitoring submission.

Requirements:

Degree/Master in Material Eng/Mechanical Eng/electronics Eng/Physics/Manufacturing Engineering.

Min 5 years of experience in the LED Manufacturing / Semiconductors Field. IC Knowledge will be an added advantage.Min 5 years of working experience in Product Engineering, Product Development or Product Characterization on the LED Manufacturing Field. IC Knowledge will be an advantages.

Experience & ability to lead engineers & technicians will be an added advantage.

Able to communicate effectively with counterpart in Europe and China. Hence, fluency in Malay, Chinese, English and/or German shall be added advantage.
