Job summary

Straits Scientific (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Product Sales Executive for the Scientific Division based in Central. You will present, demonstrate and train customers on division products, and support the full sales cycle with after-sales service. The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Science and preferably 1 year of laboratory sales.

You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, own transport and willingness to travel. Training will be provided to succeed in this role.

• Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biotech or related field)

Responsibilities

We are a progressive company engaged in the healthcare and Laboratory, distributing world-class diagnostics and research products. In line with our expansion plan, we are seeking enthusiastic candidates to be part of our growing team in Scientific Division.

Responsibilities

• To conduct presentation, product demonstration and training of division’s products to existing and potential customers.


• Troubleshoots application issues either in the field or at office


• Actively involved in the sales cycle within the team and provide good after sales support.


• Continuously building good customer rapport and relationship.


• To expand the customer base for company.


• Proactively updates products knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications to understand market requirement and technology from time to time.


• To assist the manager in activities like marketing, Seminar, product Launching and other sales related matters.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Science ( Chemistry, Biotech and other related field)


• Preferable minimum 1 year of working experience in Laboratory sales.

Skills & Knowledge

• Outspoken personality and willing to develop good relationship with new / existing customers


• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality


• Possess own transport and willing to travel


• Training will be provided for successful candidate
