About the Role:

We are partnering with a leading global life insurance organization to hire a Product Owner. This role will lead the development and delivery of specific digital capabilities within a centralized platform operating across Asia. You will play a critical role in driving customer-centric, scalable, and standardized servicing journeys across diverse international markets, aligning platform adoption with the organization's strategic digital transformation goals for 2028.

The Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Priority 1: A strong background in the Insurance sector combined with solid Product Management experience. You should possess a foundational understanding of Data and AI, supplemented by prior experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or Project Manager (PM).
• Priority 2: Alternatively, candidates with robust digital product management experience currently working for a Big 4 consulting company and who is looking for a transition to In-house. Senior Manager / Associate Director is the level we are looking for.

Language Requirement: Fluency in either Mandarin or Cantonese is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Leadership & Roadmap: Define, manage, and prioritize the product vision and roadmap for servicing initiatives based on business impact, customer feedback, and market readiness.
• Outcome Ownership: Drive adoption and optimize straight-through processing (STP) capabilities across agent, branch, and call center channels. Accountable for delivering measurable business outcomes (cost savings, revenue uplift, improved NPS) and tracking success via OKRs.
• Cross-Market Collaboration: Work closely with country teams to understand operational gaps, regulatory nuances, and operational processes to harmonize and scale capabilities globally.
• Delivery & Quality: Partner with delivery and data teams to ensure timely, high-quality product releases. Maintain adherence to governance standards and manage change requests throughout the product lifecycle.
• Customer-Centric Design: Ensure digital journeys are innovative, intuitive, and perfectly aligned with customer needs and expectations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements and strategic objectives.

Core Skills & Requirements:

• 12+ years' experience in the life insurance or financial services industry, with a deep understanding of insurance products, servicing processes, and market dynamics.
• Strong operational expertise, featuring hands-on knowledge of servicing workflows, risk controls, and regulatory environments across Asian markets.
• Proven track record in leading digital transformation, capability leadership, and cross-market initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital servicing tools.
• Agile mindset with experience in product lifecycle management and backlog prioritization (Agile certification is a plus).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and aligning diverse market teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
