Job summary

Puncak AI Sdn Bhd in Malaysia (Selangor) seeks a Product Owner/Business Analyst to bridge business needs with digital delivery. You will gather requirements, define vision and roadmaps, and translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

You will lead cross-functional teams through end-to-end software delivery and drive Agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in similar roles, strong backlog management, and experience with enterprise software or digital transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years' experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, Delivery Lead, or similar role.
• Experience delivering enterprise software, web apps, cloud solutions, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery environments.
• Hands-on backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, release priorities, and stakeholder management.

• Communicates status, risks and milestones clearly to stakeholders.
• Facilitates workshops, demos and UAT activities.
• Promotes Agile principles, governance and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers and subject matter experts to gather, analyse and understand business requirements.
• Define product vision, goals and roadmaps that are aligned with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Create, maintain and prioritise product backlogs based on business value, strategic objectives and delivery dependencies.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements and delivery-ready documentation.
• Lead end-to-end software delivery activities from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation support.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, milestones and delivery performance to ensure timely and quality outcomes.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, project sponsors and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate project status, risks, achievements, issues and delivery milestones clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, product demonstrations and User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Promote Agile delivery principles, governance standards, documentation discipline and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet approved business requirements, user expectations, quality standards and agreed acceptance criteria.
• Identify delivery risks, dependencies and roadblocks early, develop mitigation plans and escalat

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Delivery Lead, Project Coordinator, Scrum Master or similar role.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise software, web applications, cloud-based solutions or digital transformation projects.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience managing product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, release priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across business, technical, quality assurance and implementation activities.
