Job summary

ITS Nutriscience, a division of ITS GROUP, distributes specialty food and nutraceutical ingredients for the food, beverage and healthcare industries. We seek a sales-focused professional to drive coverage and agency lines within the Food sector.

You will manage product lines, develop market-entry plans, price strategies, and collaborate with Marketing on events. A degree in Food Technology/Science or related field, strong English, and a proven sales record are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science and Nutrition or related discipline.
• 3 years of relevant sales/marketing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English and local language(s).
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage product lines to achieve sales targets and secure new business.
• Oversee sales and marketing activities for assigned agency lines.
• Analyze market potential and develop product introduction plans.
• Formulate and implement marketing strategies to keep products competitive.
• Follow up on payments.
• Collaborate with Marketing on newsletters, roadshows, exhibitions, etc.
• Participate in divisional strategic planning in line with company direction.
• Establish pricing strategies and guidelines for assigned product line.
• Provide training to customers when needed.

What am I responsible of

To be responsible for meeting coverage sales targets and agency lines sales targets assigned including but not limited to the following units: Food

What are my daily tasks like

• To manage the product lines in terms of achieving the sales target, securing new business as well as monitoring the results on a monthly basis against the projected sales figure
• To manage all sales and marketing activities of agency lines assigned independently
• To analyse market potential and to develop plans for products introduction
• To formulate & implement relevant marketing strategies so that our products & services are always competitive in the market
• To follow up on payment
• To work closely with Marketing Department in handling/executing newsletters, roadshows, exhibitions and etc
• To actively participate in the division’s strategic planning activities in relation to the overall company direction
• To establish pricing strategies and guidelines for assigned product line
• To provide training to customer when needed

What is required to do this job

• Possess Degree in Food Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, or any related discipline
• Preferably 3 years’ relevant working experience in a similar capacity
• Good written and spoken in English and any other local language
• Possess good presentation and negotiation skill
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Good track record of achieving sales target
