Job summary

GP BATTERIES (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Product Manager to lead PM activities for primary products, drive new product introductions, and manage the product portfolio. You will develop market strategies, analyze trends, and collaborate with factories, sales, and partners to capture opportunities and meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or related disciplines is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in product management and development.
• Technical knowledge in electronics industry is preferrable.
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen and problem-solving capability.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint is a must.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Occasional travel is needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive product management activities including product enhancement programs, new product introduction, and portfolio management for Primary products.

Lead & drive the product management activities, including product enhancement programs, new product introduction, and portfolio management for Primary products

Plan & execute the project development and capture the new business opportunities in specified market segments

Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends of focused applications, customer requirements, and competitor activities

Analyze the market intelligence and formulate the product marketing strategies to meet sales targets

Closely collaborate with factories, sales & marketing team and overseas business partners, to ensure effective communication throughout business development process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or related disciplines
