Job summary

GP BATTERIES (M) SDN BHD is seeking a capable professional to ensure customer requirements and regulatory standards are met across quality, packaging and process areas.

You will collaborate with Production, R&D, EHS and Quality teams to handle inquiries, change controls and corrective actions, while driving customer satisfaction and effective traceability programs.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field.
• Self-motivated, independent and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and implement customer requirements and regulatory needs.
• Coordinate with departments on customer tech inquiries and change control.
• Respond to customer complaints with corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Support packaging and artwork development and evaluation.
• Update work instructions related to customer satisfaction and complaints.

Job description

Introduce and Implement customer standard and requirements within company.

Monitor and update of worldwide and customer environmental requirements.

Ensure products are fulfilling ROSCH and REACH requirements and response to the customer.

Initial Mock recall and traceability program.

Introduce and implement the quality audit related to regulation and customer requirements within company.

Conduct Mock recall and traceability within related department.

Coordinate and communicate with customer on change control & validation of new material, product machine, process qualification.

(B) Customer Service

Work with the related department (Production /PMC/ R&D/ EHS /Quality) on customer technical inquiries, technical agreement & environmental issue.

Work with R&D, Quality, PIE, Engineering and production department for customer complaint evaluation, and ensure proper measure are taken where necessary.

Evaluate and coordinate sample submission to customer.

Represent the company to response to Customer Complaint by means of initiating and providing corrective action and preventive action.

Ensure and follow up the effectiveness of implementation for action taken (customer complaint).

As window of contact, coordinate the customer visit and customer audit.

Collect feedback from customer and prepare the customer satisfaction survey analysis and summary

(C) Packaging & Artwork

Support customer packaging and artwork development and evaluation test.

Evaluate and coordinate artwork sample submission to customer and vendor.

Work out with PMC to ensure change control and validate new packaging material supplier/source that fulfil requirement.

(D) Others

Update the Work instruction related customer satisfaction and customer complaint and packaging material evaluation.

Involve into the Quality or process improvement project with R&D, PIE, Quality and Production Team.

Requirement

Candidate must possess at least a Master or Degree of Science or Engineering or equivalent.

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Self-motivated, independent and good communication.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage.

Able to join immediately is an advantage.
