Job summary

Chipbond Technology Malaysia is seeking a fresh engineering graduate in Penang to support product introduction and integration from customer design to mass production. You will pair with Taiwan HQ and Mandarin-speaking clients as the main technical liaison across frontend, backend, and testing teams.

The role covers process integration, defining specifications, issue ownership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive yield improvements and ramp-up readiness for mass production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall integration and advancement of new products from customer design to pilot run and mass production.
• Serve as the integration contact for customers, frontend, backend, and testing.
• Plan and confirm product roadmap, milestones, and risk plans.
• Integrate the full process across Frontend / Bumping / Backend / Testing.
• Act as owner for cross-department issues and drive yield improvements, reliability issues, and customer complaints.
• Communicate issue conclusions, risk assessments, and improvement plans with customers.
• Serve as the primary technical contact / product owner for customers.
• Explain process changes (PCN/ECN) and readiness to mass production; support audits and reviews.
• Monitor mass production yield, cycle time, OEE, and quality trends; drive improvements and best practices.
• Assist in process standardization and ramp-up support.

Job description

1. Product Introduction and Overall Integration (NPI / Transfer)

• Responsible for the overall integration and advancement of new products from customer design to pilot run and mass production.
• Serve as the integration contact for customers, frontend, backend, and testing
• Plan and confirm product roadmap, milestones, and risk plans.

2. Process Integration and Specification Definition (Process Integration)

• Integrate the full process across Frontend / Bumping / Backend / Testing

3. Issue Analysis and Problem Solving

• Act as the owner for cross-department issues, leading efforts on: Yield loss ,Parametric failures, Reliability failures and Customer complaints
• Communicate issue conclusions, risk assessments, and improvement plans with customers.

4. Customer Communication and Technical Interface (Customer Interface)

• Serve as the primary technical contact / product owner for customers.

Explain to customers about the Process changes (PCN / ECN); Process capability and mass production readiness; Issue investigations and conclusions

• Support customer audits, line reviews, and qualification reviews.

5. Mass Production Support

• Monitor mass production yield, cycle time (CT), OEE, and quality trends
• Drive yield improvement, cost optimization, and cycle time reduction
• Assist in process standardization and establishment of best practices
• Support production line emergencies and ramp-up

Job Requirements

1)Bachelor's degree in any related engineering field, Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply as well.

2) The above positions require proficiency in Mandarin, English, as the position involves frequent coordination and reporting to the Taiwan headquarters and Mandarin-speaking clients.
