Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks an Engineer to support its cooling tower product portfolio, perform and evaluate thermal calculations, and develop application solutions aligned with market requirements.

You will work with R&D, marketing, and engineering teams to translate customer needs into product specifications, provide technical input for brochures and proposals, and help drive new product opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in cooling towers or heat exchange applications.
• Practical understanding of heat exchange products, operation, selection and applications.
• Strong understanding of cooling tower thermal calculations and heat transfer principles.
• Ability to work independently after onboarding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication with Marketing, R&D and Engineering teams.

Role Overview:
Responsible for supporting the company's cooling tower product portfolio, performing and evaluating thermal calculations, and developing application solutions, while translating market and industrial requirements into product improvements and new product opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

To develop and maintain technical understanding of the company's cooling tower product portfolio, including design, construction, components, and performance characteristics.

To understand thermal calculation principles and performance parameters (heat load, water flow, air flow, range, approach temperature) sufficiently to evaluate and guide product improvements.

To independently evaluate cooling tower applications and recommend suitable product configurations based on customer and project requirements.

To translate market, customer, and industrial requirements into appropriate product specifications and application solutions.

To liaise with the R&D team on new products, product modifications, and application-specific solutions based on market requirements.

To provide technical input for product brochures, proposals, and marketing materials, and support customer enquiries and technical discussions.

To undertake tasks assigned by superior from time to time.

Key Requirements:

Possesses Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or any other related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in cooling towers or related heat exchange applications.

Practical and proven understanding of related heat exchange products (eg. Cooling tower or heat exchanger), operation, selection and applications.

Strong understanding of cooling tower thermal calculations and heat transfer principles is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after an appropriate onboarding period.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Good communication skills and ability to work with Marketing, R&D and Engineering teams.
