Job summary

Molex Malaysia CCS division seeks a Project Management Engineer to lead cross-functional teams from product development through production transition. You will coordinate with Global Product Managers, Design Lab, and manufacturing plants to commercialize innovations and meet customer needs.

You will monitor schedules, manage scope and costs, perform risk assessments, and drive PDP execution while mentoring colleagues in project management principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years in a project management or engineering role with knowledge of scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey ideas to diverse audiences.
• Interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in new product development and selected capacity expansion projects.
• Monitor project schedules, define critical paths, and ensure timelines and deliverables.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes with risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Respond to RFQ, DMF, and GCA requests within established timeline goals.
• Own project reporting and drive effective communication with management and customers.
• Mentor team members on project management and PDP methodologies.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across functions and regions.
• Take accountability for plant-level project and portfolio management activities.
