Job summary

Menara Maxis in Malaysia is seeking a Product Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in product testing, billing operations, system migration, and UAT within a fast-paced telecom environment.

You will support testing activities, manage test numbers, assist with UCRs, and contribute to the Billing System Migration project while developing problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Test Number Verification across staging and production environments.
• Raise bill waivers for test numbers on a monthly basis.
• Assist UCR UAT and PPV activities for the Product Development team.
• Run end-to-end UCR testing to gain practical experience.
• Support UAT for Billing System Migration and ensure smooth migration.

In this role, you will work closely with the Product Development team to support testing activities, manage test numbers, assist with UCRs, and contribute to the Billing System Migration project. This internship offers valuable exposure to product development and system testing within a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Number Verification: Perform verification of test numbers across both staging and production environments to ensure they are functioning accurately and ready for testing activities.
• Bill Waiver Management: Raise bill waivers for test numbers on a monthly basis and ensure the requests are completed accurately.
• UCR UAT & PPV Support: Assist Product Development team members with UCR User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and PPV activities.
• UCR End-to-end Testing: Run one UCR end-to-end, wherever applicable, to gain practical experience in the complete testing process.
• Billing System Migration UAT: Assist with User Acceptance Testing for the Billing System Migration project, including end-to-end testing to identify potential issues and help ensure a smooth migration with minimal impact on customer experience.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree. Students from IT, Product Development, or related fields are preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify issues and determine practical solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Able to perform testing and verification activities accurately and identify discrepancies effectively.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with team members and supporting various testing and product-related activities.
• Adaptability: Willing to learn and adapt to different systems, processes, and testing requirements.

Internship Period
