Job summary

UST Malaysia in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to develop and validate ATE test programs and patterns for advanced IP integration. You will build test infrastructure, validate new features, and drive silicon characterization across PVT conditions.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills (C, C++, Python), experience with JTAG/BIST/HSIO, and familiarity with Windows, Unix, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing ATE test programs and patterns.
• Understanding of JTAG, BIST, and HSIO concepts.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, Ruby, Perl, or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Competence in statistical analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of modern computer architecture.
• BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines
