Job summary

MYFutureJobs is recruiting a Product Design Engineer for plastic, polythene and HDPE products based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The role involves developing designs from concept to production and ensuring manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Able to coordinate with production, vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop product designs from concept through production.
• Prepare sketches, design concepts, mood boards, 3D models, renderings and prototypes.
• Produce detailed drawings, product specifications and BOMs.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and suitable for production.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, Sales and other internal teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and tooling partners.
• Support trials, design validation and process improvements.
• Ensure products meet applicable requirements and certifications (SIRIM, IKRAM, SPAN, ANQAS).
• Maintain accurate design records and technical documentation.

VACANCY: PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER - PLASTIC & HDPE PRODUCTS

MYFutureJobs is assisting an established manufacturer of plastic, polythene and HDPE products in recruiting a qualified Product Design Engineer.

Location: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

Basic Salary: RM3,500 per month

Experience: Minimum three years

Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product designs from initial concept through to production.
• Prepare sketches, design concepts, mood boards, 3D models, renderings and prototypes.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, product specifications and Bills of Materials.
• Ensure designs are practical, functional and suitable for manufacturing.
• Work closely with Production, Quality Control, Sales and other internal teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and tooling or manufacturing partners.
• Support product trials, design validation and process improvement activities.
• Ensure products meet applicable requirements and certifications, including SIRIM, IKRAM, SPAN and ANQAS.
• Maintain accurate design records and technical documentation.
