Job summary

MYFutureJobs seeks an experienced Production Manager for a plastic products manufacturer in Negeri Sembilan. You will plan, coordinate and monitor daily production to meet output, cost, quality and delivery targets, while leading a team of supervisors and operators.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing, 8+ years in manufacturing, strong planning, process-improvement and safety knowledge, and Mandarin proficiency for supplier communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• Minimum eight years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Experience leading production teams.
• Experience in plastic products, HDPE, rotational moulding or pipe extrusion preferred.
• Proficient in production planning, process improvement, quality control and workplace safety.
• Mandarin proficiency to communicate with Mandarin-speaking vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/production-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor daily production activities to achieve output, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Develop production schedules according to customer demand and capacity.
• Oversee rotational moulding, pipe extrusion, compounding, pulverising and fittings production processes.
• Manage factory operations involving manpower, machinery, maintenance and process-parameter control.
• Monitor production output, product quality, waste, downtime and material usage.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce defects and costs.
• Lead and develop production supervisors, technicians, operators and production workers.
• Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse and Logistics departments.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, workplace safety, PPE and 5S.
