Job summary

KMWE Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Lead to oversee material and service purchases, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost efficiency. The role collaborates with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure on-time materials and compliant procurement processes.

The candidate should have a strong background in supply chain management, negotiation, and ERP proficiency to support strategic sourcing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent, or 5+ years in technical purchasing.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; understands ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement of materials and services to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Develop and improve procurement processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
• Collaborate with Planning and Warehouse to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
