Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related field
• 5–8 years of material management experience in engineering/project environments
• Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory control, and quality management processes
• Familiar with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and proven leadership
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee material planning aligned with project schedules, demand forecasts and site requirements
• Manage material receiving, inspection, and quality control per project specs
• Establish inventory management, stock accuracy, safety, and storage
• Lead documentation for material certifications and inspection records
• Conduct regular site inspections of material storage, usage, and safety/quality compliance
• Develop scrap and surplus handling processes to optimize cost and resources
• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth material flow
• Lead and develop the materials team to improve operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
