Job summary

KMWE Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a procurement specialist to manage supplier relationships and secure quality, pricing, and timely delivery. You will issue POs, coordinate ERP updates, and monitor supplier performance to prevent production delays.

You will work closely with Production, Planning, Sales Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to support operations and ECN activities. Strong Excel/ERP skills and 2–4 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 2–4 years of purchasing/procurement experience; fresh grads with strong results encouraged.
• Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery.
• Issue and manage POs with timely supplier acknowledgement and ERP updates.
• Monitor on-time delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Coordinate deliveries, reschedule, and manage order changes based on demand.
• Support ECN implementation by coordinating procurement activities.
• Prepare weekly procurement updates and supplier performance reports.
