ams OSRAM Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Supplier Management professional to coordinate global supplier qualification and sustainability initiatives.

You will lead qualification activities, ensure audit-ready records, and create dashboards to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities across the supply base.

The role calls for a Business degree, 3–5 years in manufacturing with 2+ years in supplier management, and fluent English plus Mandarin or German (added advantage).

• Drive standardization and digitalization of supplier management processes and tools, including automation and AI-supported solutions.
• Act as SME and provide guidance and training to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Steer cross-functional projects, audits, and management requests within the role’s area.

Your new responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate global Supplier Management activities in accordance with applicable Procurement processes, policies and responsibilities.
• Support accurate, complete and audit-ready qualification information and documentation across relevant Supplier Management systems.
• Coordinate supplier qualification activities, including requirements clarification, document review, stakeholder collaboration, follow-up, escalation and closure of qualification gaps to support Ready for Business status.
• Actively take over supplier sustainability and compliance requirements, including Code of Conduct, EHS, human rights, responsible minerals, environmental, quality, supply chain security and other applicable requirements, including follow-up on assessments, findings and corrective actions.
• Analyze Supplier Management and qualification data and create and implement dashboards and reports to identify risks, trends, gaps and improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization and digitalization of Supplier Management processes and tools, including suitable automation and AI-supported solutions.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for assigned Supplier Management, qualification and sustainability topics and provide guidance, training and support to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Actively steer cross-functional projects, audits, management requests and other activities within the role’s area of responsibility.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Degree in Business or equivalent business experience.
• Good interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in Manufacturing line; 2 or more years of experience in Supplier Management role.
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Mandarin/German language (added advantage)
• Good computer skills such as Microsoft office; knowledge in SAP is added advantage.
