Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a materials planning and project management professional in Malaysia. You will ensure material readiness for engineering builds, coordinate resource allocation, and schedule engineering activities to keep line readiness and yield improvements on track.

The role requires a engineering degree with 3–10 years in semiconductors, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Excel/Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or relevant field.
• 3–10 years in semiconductor field.
• Project Management skills or experience is a plus.
• Knowledge in schedule, resource planning, material & capacity planning.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Good report-writing and data analysis skills using MS Office.
• Ability to liaise between departments with good communication.

• Coordinate engineering builds including reservation of machine capacity, engineering resource.
• Schedule and prioritize engineering build.
• Ensures smooth engineering sample build, DOE execution, and line readiness.

What we look for

• Candidate with Project Management skills or experience will have a strong advantage.
• Knowledge in schedule, resource planning, material & capacity planning
• Strong analytical skill, systematic problem solving approach skill, statistical knowledge, very careful and detailed-oriented personality.
• Good report-writing and data analysis skills are required. An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project is required and knowledge of Microsoft Access will be an advantage.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and very good communication skills to liaise between different departments/groups.
