Job summary

Taner Industrial Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a proactive Procurement Assistant to manage sourcing, cost negotiations, and purchase of accessories for Taner’s products. You will plan, issue POs, and coordinate with production teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Business Administration, at least three years in trade purchasing for manufacturing, strong negotiation and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; fluency

Qualifications

• Secondary/Diploma in Business Administration or its equivalent.
• At least three years of working experience handling trade purchasing for manufacturing, construction or engineering companies.
• Good negotiation, planning and organizing skills.
• Able to multi-task and handle different issues or problems simultaneously.
• Able to analyze listed data for presentation or report.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good verbal and written communication in Mandarin, Malay, English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and issue purchase orders (POs) according to production schedules.
• Source and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate cost and payment terms with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier records and assist in cost reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with production and project departments for delivery and receiving of goods.
• Follow up on DOs and tax invoices for financial closing.
• Ensure procurement policies and records are properly filed.
