Job summary

Top Glove Corporation is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist in Malaysia to manage vendor sourcing, negotiation and purchase orders. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure policy compliance and drive cost efficiency.

You will evaluate supplier performance, optimize inventory and handle packaging artwork coordination with vendors. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required, and a degree in a related field is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above.
• Relevant working experience in purchasing/procurement or supply chain management is an added advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with different departments.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and result-driven.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor sourcing and selection to ensure suppliers meet the required quality, cost and service standards.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Follow up with vendors to resolve delivery delays, shortages and other supply-related issues.
• Monitor and optimise inventory levels to support operational requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on packaging artwork development, revisions and updates.
