Job summary

Sky-Tag Robotics Sdn Bhd is looking for a Procurement Officer in Penang to monitor stock, source suppliers, compare quotations, and negotiate terms. You will issue POs and maintain supplier records to support daily operations in a growing manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in a related field and at least 1 year of experience. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using SQL accounting/inventory system.
• Effective vendor coordination and cost control.
• Ability to prepare accurate Purchase Orders and maintain records.
• Familiarity with basic purchasing and supply chain procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and inventory movement using the SQL accounting system.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
• Request and compare vendor quotations to obtain best pricing and quality.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Update and maintain purchase records, supplier databases, and inventory reports.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure all purchasing activities are properly documented and filed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast needs and manage stock replenishment.
• Assist in maintaining a fully stocked inventory to support daily operations.
• Support in handling any administrative duties related to procurement processes.
