About the Job

You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing equipment, materials, and services to support plant construction and daily manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
- Source equipment, materials, and services through RFQ, quotation comparison, tendering, and supplier evaluation.
- Conduct price analysis and cost optimization to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and procurement procedures.
- Support sourcing strategy development for plant construction and operational procurement.
Procurement Execution
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including SAP purchase orders, delivery follow-up, warehouse receiving, invoice verification, and payment coordination.
- Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Coordinate closely with internal to support production and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Manage supplier onboarding, qualification, classification, and performance evaluations.
- Resolve supplier delivery, quality, and commercial issues to ensure stable supply performance.
- Support continuous supplier improvement initiatives.
Contract Management
- Prepare, review, and maintain procurement contracts and commercial agreements.
- Support contract approval, change management, document control, and contract tracking.
- Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance, Warehouse, and Administration teams to ensure procurement activities support operational requirements.
- Coordinate supplier payments with the Finance Department.
- Support procurement planning for plant projects and operational needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with up to 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within the chemical or manufacturing industry are preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, or purchasing activities will be an added advantage.
- Internship or project experience in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing is an advantage for fresh graduates.
- Good command of English is required. Chinese proficiency is highly preferred to facilitate communication with China headquarters, technical teams and suppliers.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and inventory control.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional communication skills.
