Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang invites dynamic professionals to join as Procurement / Assistant Procurement Manager. You will manage cross-property procurement, source products, and drive cost-efficient purchasing while maintaining quality and guest experience.

Candidate should have 2+ years in procurement or sourcing, with strong English and stakeholder management. We offer opportunities in a luxury hospitality environment in Penang.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in procurement or related discipline.
• Formal education in supply chain management or hospitality management is preferred.
• Experience in procurement within large organizations or hospitality environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement across three Shangri-La properties (Penang cluster).
• Obtain quotations from minimum three suppliers and prepare comparisons.
• Prepare tender documents and coordinate tender processes.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers; recommend selections to management.
• Monitor supplier pricing, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders; ensure compliance with policies.
