Job summary

COLFORM SDN. BHD. in Sabah seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing, source materials, and ensure timely delivery.

You will negotiate with vendors, maintain audit trails, and coordinate with engineering, production, and logistics while upholding company policies. Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English is preferred. The role requires at least a Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in procurement.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM or Diploma or any relevant field.
• At least 2 years' experience in the related field.
• Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of procurement best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia & English communication in written and oral; Mandarin proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain efficiency and compliance throughout the procurement process.
• Analyze vendor quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and select vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Maintain a comprehensive audit trail for all procurement activities to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring on-time supply.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as engineering, production, and logistics to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Responsible for preparation and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures Managing and monitor deliveries (local and overseas) of items to ensure all items are delivered to the site/store in time.
• Liaise with planner and warehouse to ensure purchase meet requirements and monitoring inventory level set by the company.
• Handling and monitoring of claims for defectives, shortage, missing parts in accordance with company policy.
• Liaise with Account Payable Department to ensure accuracy of payment by checking invoices and items delivered.
• Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Management.
