Job summary

Chemresistrol Engineering Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a dedicated Procurement Assistant to join our procurement team on a full-time basis. You will support purchase orders, vendor communications, and inventory coordination to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Ideal candidates have relevant qualifications in business or engineering, proven procurement or inventory experience, and strong Excel/Office skills. You will work in a manufacturing environment that values accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Secondary or tertiary qualification in business, engineering or SCM.
• Proven procurement, purchasing or inventory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with multitasking ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
• Support supplier communications and maintain vendor databases.
• Coordinate with suppliers to track shipments and delivery schedules.
• Assist inventory management and stock level monitoring.
• Prepare procurement reports and documentation as required.
• Support receipt and inspection of goods on arrival.
• Maintain organised procurement files for easy retrieval and audit.
