Job summary

Spirolite (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement specialist to manage organization-wide purchasing activities and supplier relationships. The role requires coordinating requisitions, planning purchases, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of procurement experience, manufacturing exposure preferred, and working knowledge of AX Dynamics or SAP. Strong English and Mandarin communication and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of working experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing/production operations.
• Working knowledge of AX Dynamics or SAP is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills and proactive engagement with other departments.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
• Able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement activities for the organization.
• Plan, develop, manage and co-ordinate the procurement processes.
• Process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority.
• Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs to prevent inventory gaps.
• Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on procurement, procedures, and contracts.
• Prepare cost analysis.
• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
• Ascertain best quotation and supplier that meets the criteria of pricing, quality, quantity availability and delivery dates.
• Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure goods are delivered on time.
• Manage suppliers on quality issues and co-ordinate changes in material specification.
• Coordinate with sales team, customer, suppliers and related companies to ensure inventory receive on schedule.
• Follow-up with Custom Department / freight forwarder for incoming / outgoing goods against any damaged goods and coordinate custom duties payments.
• Prepares periodic reports related to purchasing, inventory control, and shipping and receiving.

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree that related to the position.

At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in related field. Prior experience in manufacturing/production operations will be given priority.

Working knowledge of AX Dynamics, SAP System is a plus.

Good interpersonal skills and proactive engagement with other departments to ensure effectiveness of work.

Good written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
