Job summary

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR), seeks a Master Data Specialist to govern supplier/item master data across DataZen and ERP systems. You will lead data cleansing, validation, and change management while coordinating with Procurement, S2P, and Global Supply Chain teams to ensure data accuracy and process integrity.

You will support testing, UAT, and system integrations, driving optimization of master data workflows and governance across multiple platforms and time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience with master data governance and audit controls.
• Ability to profile, cleanse and remediate data in ERP environments.
• Familiarity with S2P processes and BOM structures.
• Proven ability to collaborate with global teams across time zones.
• Experience with DataZen, workflow tools, or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Validate, create, and modify supplier master records in DataZen and Oracle EBS, ensuring governance and audit standards.
• Track and document all master data changes via DataZen and SharePoint to meet SLA commitments.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality remediation with Data Management team.
• Provide first-level support and issue resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve master data issues and improve efficiency.
• Support internal stakeholders through effective communication and timely issue closure.
• Manage supplier creation, modifications, and validations for S2P processes.
• Execute item master setup and maintenance including lead times and purchasing parameters.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to synchronize ERP data.
• Assist in testing, UAT, and validation of procurement data integrations and workflow improvements.
• Ensure alignment of master data between ERP systems and e2open for reliable planning.
