Job summary

Bard Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Technician on a 1-year fixed-term contract to support qualification and validation activities across projects. The role covers material preparation, sampling, documentation, data collection, and validation related to material/product evaluation, packaging, and sterilization.

The successful candidate will assist in daily compounding operations, maintain stock of process chemicals, and support the Compounding Supervisor to ensure smooth production workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or SPM with relevant experience as stated.

Job description

A 1-year fixed-term Technician is required to support qualification and validation activities associated with ongoing project-related initiatives. The incumbent will support material preparation, qualification batches, sampling, documentation, data collection, and validation activities related to material/product evaluation, product packaging, and sterilization. In addition, the role will provide operational support to ensure the smooth execution of compounding activities and uninterrupted production support.

Key Responsibilities:

Support qualification and validation activities associated with project-related initiatives.

Assist in material preparation, qualification batches, sampling, documentation, data collection, and validation activities for material/product evaluation, packaging, and sterilization.

Perform daily process chemical stock checks and ensure continuous supply of process chemicals to production.

Assist the Compounding Supervisor in carrying out daily work activities.

Carry out churn compounding of base lattices.

Recover waste alcohol from the dip room through the alcohol recovery plant.

Maintain good housekeeping practices in the compounding areas and scrap yard.

Qualification Requirements:

Diploma in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Latex Technology, or a related discipline; OR

SPM with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.

Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
