Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company in Malaysia is seeking a technician to ensure compounding procedures meet B.O.P standards and to manage daily stock of process chemicals for production lines.

The role also involves assisting the Compounding Supervisor, handling churn of base lattices, recovering waste alcohol, and keeping the work areas clean and compliant with safety rules. Diploma holders or experienced SPMs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry/Polymer Science/Latex Technology or related discipline.
• SPM with minimum 3 years relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compounding procedures conform to B.O.Ps.
• Daily stock check of process chemicals and ensure smooth supply to production.
• Assist Compounding Supervisor in daily work activities.
• Responsible for churn compounding of base lattices.
• Recover waste alcohol penetrated from dip room via alcohol recovery plant.
• Maintain good housekeeping in compounding areas and scrap yard.
