Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Equipment Technician (Die Prep/Surface Mount Technology) to manage production line equipment on shift and ensure KPI attainment.

The role requires a Diploma in a technical field and at least 5 years of industrial experience with equipment development or maintenance. Strong knowledge of wafer mounting, dicing, wire bonding and die attach is essential. The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and provide hands-on

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Basic English reading and writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage Assembly Engineering equipment on shift to meet KPI goals.
• Execute exactly according to Spec, WI, OPL and BKM to maintain equipment.
• Perform PM / CAL of production equipment.
• Provide technical support to resolve equipment and hardware issues.
• Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance to operators and technicians.
• Meet 5S, quality, EHS and discipline requirements.

Job description

Equipment Technician (Die Prep/Surface Mount Technology)

Managing the Assembly Engineering machine related to:

MOL/EOL (Dispenser, Reflow Oven, Lid/Stiffener Attach, Ball Mount, Indium Attach, Fluxer)

Production line equipment maintenance on shift to meet planned KPIs goal.

Execute exactly according to Spec, WI, OPL and BKM to maintain equipment.

Equipment ramp up and conversion to support production volume loading.

Perform PM / CAL of production equipment.

Provide technical support / solutions to resolve equipment and hardware related issues.

Conduct Training on equipment operation and maintenance to operator and technician.

Meet all company requirements on 5s, quality, EHS and discipline.

Perform other duties as required assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Diploma and major inMechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or etc.

Language:Basic English reading and writing ability

Experience:At least 5 years’ industrial experience with 2 years equipment development or equipment maintenance experience

Strong knowledge in WAFER MOUNTING, WAFER DICING, WIRE BONDING & DIE ATTACH.

Familiar with equipment operation and know basic maintenance of production equipment.

Basic communication skill and good learning and feedback ability.
