Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Equipment Technician to support the manufacturing floor in Bayan Lepas.

The role focuses on functional testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production line equipment to meet KPIs. Fresh graduates with electronics background are welcome. You will read schematics, perform calibration, 5S, EHS duties, and train operators and technicians in equipment operation.

Qualifications

Carry out functional testing and debugging to ensure product quality and performance.
Read and interpret schematic drawings to support troubleshooting.
Support equipment troubleshooting and debugging to maintain optimal performance.
Execute exactly according to Spec, WI, OPL and BKM to maintain equipment.
Meet all company requirements on 5S, quality, EHS and discipline.

Responsibilities

Carry out functional testing and debugging.
Read schematic drawings to support troubleshooting.
Maintain and calibrate production equipment on shift to meet KPIs.
Provide technical support/solutions for equipment and hardware issues.
Train operators/technicians in equipment operation and maintenance.

Job description

Carry out functional testing to ensure product quality and performance.
Read and interpret schematic drawings to support efficient troubleshooting.
Support equipment troubleshooting and debugging to maintain optimal performance.
Production line equipment maintenance on shift to meet planned KPIs goal.
Have experience in board debugging (exe; soldering, able to read schematic diagram)
Or Fresh grade with electronic background.
Execute exactly according Spec, WI, OPL and BKM to maintain equipment.
Equipment ramp up and conversion to support production volume loading.
Perform PM / CAL of production equipment.
Provide technical support / solutions to resolve equipment and hardware related issues.
Conduct Training on equipment operation and maintenance to operator and technician1.
Meet all company requirements on 5s, quality, EHS and discipline.
Perform other duties as required assigned by supervisor.
Experience in functional testing and debugging.
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and technical documents.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
