Job summary

CHEMSILK SDN. BHD. is looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to join our surface finishing team in Malaysia. You will support RFQ activities, review drawings, and help ensure process capability meets customer requirements.

You will collaborate with Production, QA, Purchasing, and Engineering to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement, and uphold our commitment to quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial or related field)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; CAD knowledge is an added advantage
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support RFQ activities including costing, process feasibility assessment, and technical evaluation
• Manage technical aspects of customer products, processes, and New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Coordinate customer technical requirements and feedback, and liaise with internal teams (Production, QA, Purchasing, Engineering)
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure process capability meets customer requirements
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and product quality
