QUADRANT TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and audit manufacturing process routes. You will lead DFM analysis, NPI trials, and drive continuous yield improvement on the shop floor.

This is a Process Engineer role responsible for developing, optimizing, and auditing manufacturing process routes, conducting DFM analysis, and leading New Product Introduction (NPI) trials. You will act as the technical backbone connecting client specifications with shop-floor operations, driving continuous yield improvement, process reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.
Review client technical requirements and 2D/3D engineering drawings to conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis and prepare feasibility reports.
Define optimal manufacturing process routes, equipment sequences, machining parameters, and standard cycle times.
Design drawings and specifications for fixtures, jigs, and tooling to ensure production efficiency and accuracy.
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) trial runs on the shop floor, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth mass production handovers.
Perform process discipline audits, enforce strict SOP compliance, and implement continuous process improvements to reduce scrap and boost yield.
Provide process data and technical support for sales quotation, including cycle time, material utilization, and loss rate calculations.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Automation, or related technical fields.
Experience: Minimum 2–3+ years of process engineering or manufacturing engineering experience in Precision Machining, CNC, Hard & Brittle Materials, or General Machinery Manufacturing.
Proficient in reading and analyzing complex 2D/3D Engineering Drawings and GD&T.
Hands-on proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for fixture design.
Familiar with machining/manufacturing processes (e.g., cutting, grinding, milling, turning, or assembly).
Strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving mindset, and hands-on operational drive.
