Job summary

AEM Microtronics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an engineer to manage and support contract manufacturers for production activities. You will ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards while troubleshooting issues.

You will perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and work with Quality, R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams to improve yield, productivity, and overall manufacturing performance. Some travel to supplier sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or contract manufacturing.
• Experience working with suppliers or contract manufacturers is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of root-cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Willing to travel to supplier/contract manufacturing sites when required.
