Job summary

HP in Johor is seeking a Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes for PEN Assembly. You will develop methods, time standards, layouts, and tooling requirements for new products, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

You will lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and communicate plans and results to management, using English and local language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology or manufacturing-related engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Typically 4–8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Must be able to work in Johor, Malaysia.
• Experience using engineering tools and software to design and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Designs engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
• Develops cost estimates, capacity models, time standards, layouts, and tooling recommendations for new products.
• Collaborates with management, internal, and outsourced partners to ensure process standards and issue resolution.
• Leads a project team to deliver reliable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions from NPI through lifecycle.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
