Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design robust manufacturing processes for parts and assemblies in Malaysia. You will develop cost estimates, time standards, area layouts, and tooling recommendations for new product introductions while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with management, internal teams, and external partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions for moderately complex products and mentor

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in engineering design or related field.
• Six Sigma or APICS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs engineering solutions, including methods and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
• Develops cost estimates, capacity models, time standards, layouts and tooling recommendations for new products.
• Creates operating procedures, safety protocols and maintenance plans for large-scale equipment.
• Collaborates with management and external partners on compliance and continuous improvement.
• Leads manufacturing projects and mentors junior staff to drive innovation.
• Delivers professional reports and supports lifecycle execution from NPI to end-of-life.
