Job summary

EPG Data Center Module Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering team in Senai, Johor.

This full-time role focuses on designing, optimising and implementing industrial processes to boost efficiency, safety and quality while controlling costs and environmental impact. You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, create process flow diagrams, conduct feasibility studies, perform data-driven analyses and collaborate with production, maintenance and quality teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of process design, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Experience with process simulation tools such as ASPEN or HYSYS.
• Familiar with process safety management and hazard analysis (HAZOP, FMEA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret technical data.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards in manufacturing; MS Office and CAD skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise industrial processes to improve efficiency, productivity and quality
• Conduct process assessments and feasibility studies for new projects and operational improvements
• Create detailed process flow diagrams, specifications and technical documentation
• Implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness through data collection and analysis
• Troubleshoot process issues and identify root causes to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance and quality departments
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards
• Perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend process enhancements to reduce operational expenses
• Conduct training sessions to support staff in understanding and executing new or modified processes
• Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures
