Job summary

Advanced Energy seeks a Process Engineer to oversee, develop and optimize manufacturing processes in a fast-paced lab and production setting. The role involves leading projects to improve production efficiency and product quality using both automated and manual equipment.

You will drive first pass yield improvements, cost reductions, and corrective actions while collaborating with engineers, technicians and staff across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate independent judgment and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Improve first pass yield and lead yield enhancement projects.
• Follow up daily production issues, drive cost reduction and quality improvements.
• Address customer quality feedback, implement corrective actions, monitor results.
• Document processes, procedures and specifications.
• Develop best practices to improve yield and product quality.
• Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.
• Work with IE to establish line balancing and operator balancing factors.
• Plan production line capacity and lead CIP projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other staff.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and 5S rules.
