Job summary

Highstar Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a Process Documentation and Discipline Supervisor to support production steps by preparing and refining process documents and work instructions.

You will participate in medium-scale trial production, tracking improvements to boost yield, validating equipment, and collaborating with departments to evaluate suppliers and handle returned batteries and obsolete stock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, chemical, or electrochemical-related fields preferred.
• Strong organization, coordination, control, and communication skills.
• Experience in battery manufacturing or electrochemical industries (≥1 year).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and improve process documents and work instructions for each production step.
• Track medium-scale trial production and finalize production processes.
• Improve process capability to enhance product yield.
• Participate in equipment acceptance and evaluate process capability and production efficiency.
• Evaluate supplier changes for raw materials with relevant departments.
• Propose disposal solutions for returned lithium batteries and B-grade products.
• Other tasks assigned by leadership.

Process Documentation and Discipline Supervision

Participate in the preparation and improvement of process documents and work instructions for each production step.

Participate in tracking medium-scale trial production and the finalization of production processes.

Process Optimization and Yield Improvement

Participate in improving the company’s process capability to enhance product yield.

Equipment Validation

Participate in equipment acceptance, mainly evaluating process capability and production efficiency.

Secondary Supplier Evaluation and Introduction

Participate with relevant departments in evaluating supplier changes for raw and auxiliary materials related to finalized products.

Handling of Obsolete or Returned Batteries

Participate in proposing disposal solutions for returned lithium batteries and B-grade products.

Other Work

Other tasks assigned by the leadership

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree or above, major not limited (Engineering, Chemical, or Electrochemical-related fields preferred).

Skills Requirements:

Strong organization, coordination, control, and communication skills; familiar with battery principles, performance, and related manufacturing processes.

More than 1 years of experience in battery manufacturing or electrochemical-related industries.
