Job summary

EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manufacturing Process Manager to drive KPI management, abnormal handling, and process capability upgrades in a lithium battery manufacturing environment.

You will lead meetings, implement training plans, standardize documentation, and push yield improvements through Six Sigma and data analysis. Strong cross-functional leadership and reporting are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years as a Manufacturing Process Manager or similar role; lithium battery industry experience preferred.
• Familiar with design & development processes and management systems such as VDA6.3, ISO9001, and IATF16949.
• Proficient in project management and Six Sigma knowledge and application.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, decompose, track and review departmental KPIs; drive corrective actions and resource support for deviations.
• Oversee major process abnormality handling, defect disposition, FA analysis, and LOP-led training.
• Lead daily/weekly meetings, implement on-the-job training plans and build engineer reporting and equipment operation capabilities.
• Organize and update process documents (PFMEA, CP, SOP, etc.), verify on-site applicability and standardize trial production and DOE outputs.
• Monitor yield, drive defect decomposition, and pursue zero-to-expert projects and downgrade/scrap reductions.
• Verify and introduce new materials, products, and processes; drive innovation and patent submissions.
• Improve defective cell analysis and 8D-driven improvement closure.
• Apply quality tools to ensure CPk > 1.67 and improve mass-production process capability.
• Complete assigned tasks and support company talent development.

Job description

KPI Management – Formulate, decompose, track, and review departmental KPIs; drive corrective actions and resource support for deviations.

Abnormal & Defective Handling – Oversee major process abnormality handling, defect disposition, FA analysis, and LOP-led training to strengthen resolution capability.

Organization & Talent Development – Lead daily/weekly meetings, implement OJT and training plans, and build engineer reporting and equipment operation capabilities.

Document Standardization – Organize and update process documents (PFMEA, CP, SOP, etc.), verify on-site applicability, and standardize trial production and DOE outputs.

Yield Improvement – Monitor comprehensive and quality yield, drive defect decomposition, zero-to-expert projects, and downgrade/scrap reduction.

New Product & Process Introduction – Verify and introduce new materials, products, and processes; drive innovation and patent submissions.

Customer Complaint Handling – Improve defective cell analysis and 8D-driven improvement closure.

Process Capability Enhancement – Apply quality tools to ensure CPK > 1.67 and improve mass-production process capability.

Other Tasks – Complete assigned tasks and support company talent development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or above in Science or Engineering.

3+ years as a Manufacturing Process Manager or similar role; lithium battery industry experience preferred.

Familiar with design & development processes and management systems such as VDA6.3, ISO9001, and IATF16949.

Proficient in project management and Six Sigma knowledge and application.
