Talent Trader Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Motor Engineer with strong skills in analysis software and production process optimization. The role focuses on creating robust work instructions, control plans, and rigorous fault analysis for motor systems used in automotive seating applications.
You will apply DFMEA/PFMEA, investigate non-conformities, and coordinate with Process Engineering to enhance manufacturing efficiency while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Develop essential documents such as Production Work Instructions and Control Plans based on equipment and production line characteristics, ensuring standardized processes and consistent quality.
Use DFMEA/PFMEA methodologies to identify potential production risks and work together with the Process Engineering department to improve manufacturing processes and shorten changeover time.
Lead root cause investigations for motor function and performance non-conformities, including abnormal noise, excessive temperature rise, and overcurrent. Apply 8D reports, fishbone diagrams, and other analytical tools to identify defects related to design, materials, equipment, or operations, and ensure issues are fully resolved.
Review and apply industry standards including IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and IEC 60034. Develop customer requirement matrices to address market-specific differences, such as EMC indicators between European/American and Asian markets, and support customized production line control strategies.
Operate motor analysis equipment such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers, and use simulation software including ANSYS Maxwell and Motor-CAD to perform analysis and produce high-precision test reports.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Motor Engineering, Mechanical Design, Automation, or a related field.
Familiarity with the operating principles of permanent magnet synchronous motors and DC motors, together with relevant industry standards such as IEC 60034.
Technical analysis experience in the automotive seat motor industry, with strong knowledge of core motor component performance parameters, including stators and rotors, as well as key production process control points such as worm gears and dynamic balance precision.
Proficient in LabVIEW, MATLAB, and other analysis software.
Python scripting experience is preferred, particularly for applications such as automated test data acquisition.
