Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking an automotive powertrain/electrical motor engineer to develop control plans and DFMEA. You will lead 8D investigations into field failures and perform electromagnetic/thermal simulations using ANSYS Maxwell and Motor-CAD.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Motor Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation Control with 3+ years in automotive seat motor design or testing.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Electrical Motor Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation Control.
• 3+ years in automotive seat motor design, testing or quality analysis.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification with practical modeling tools.

Develop engineering control plans, DFMEA, and PFMEA for automotive electric seat motors and actuators.

Lead structured 8D investigations into complex field failures, including abnormal acoustic noise, thermal rise, and electrical overcurrent issues.

Conduct advanced electromagnetic and thermal simulation using specialized software such as ANSYS Maxwell and Motor-CAD.

Review and interpret international engineering specifications, including IEC 60034, and IATF standards during technical customer design reviews.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Motor Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation Control.

Minimum 3 years of specialized experience in automotive seat motor design, testing, or quality analysis.

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, with practical proficiency in LabVIEW or MATLAB modeling tools.
