FE Green PET (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Alor Gajah, Melaka seeks a Production Operations and Equipment Reliability lead to plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet output, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
You will optimise machinery, supervise a production team, drive lean improvements, maintain records, and coordinate with maintenance, QA, and logistics to ensure seamless manufacturing. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

FE Green PET (M) Sdn. Bhd. – Alor Gajah, Melaka
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to achieve output, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
Monitor and optimise production machinery and processes.
Adjust operating parameters to maintain stable production and meet product specifications.
Coordinate with the Maintenance and Quality teams to resolve process and equipment abnormalities.
Support preventive maintenance activities and planned shutdowns to minimise downtime.
Ensure all production activities comply with safety requirements, SOPs, and approved operating procedures.
Coordinate manpower deployment and daily work assignments according to production requirements.
Provide clear work instructions and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, correctly, and on time.
Monitor work performance, attendance, discipline, safety practices, and compliance with company procedures.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to production personnel.
Identify training and competency-development needs.
Support the production team in resolving operational issues and improving working practices.
Promote teamwork, accountability, safety awareness, quality ownership, and continuous improvement.
Escalate manpower, performance, safety, or disciplinary concerns to management when necessary.
Analyse production data to improve output, yield, efficiency, and product consistency.
Identify opportunities to reduce waste, material losses, rework, downtime, and process variation.
Investigate production deviations and product-quality issues.
Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in trials involving new materials, equipment, technology, and process improvements.
Apply lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement principles to improve productivity.
Maintain accurate production records, process logs, traceability documents, and quality reports.
Monitor and report production output, efficiency, downtime, scrap rates, manpower utilisation, and equipment performance.
Ensure all records are complete, accurate, traceable, and audit-ready.
Support internal and external audits.
Follow up on corrective actions arising from audit findings.
Oversee finished-product packing, labelling, storage, and loading activities.
Ensure products are correctly identified, packed, and dispatched according to customer and quality requirements.
Coordinate with the Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Verify that dispatch records and supporting documents are complete and accurate.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing or process operations.
Experience coordinating or supervising a production team is preferred.
Good knowledge of production processes, equipment, preventive maintenance, and lean manufacturing.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
Willing to support operations according to production requirements.
