Job summary

C-Pak Cergas Sdn Bhd is seeking a process engineer to manage, improve, and monitor process yield and quality at our Malaysia facility. You will liaison with various departments to gather data for project completion and customer inquiries, while preparing 8D and monthly quality improvement reports.

The role involves updating FMEA, control plans and work instructions, and following up on daily line activities to resolve process issues. An on-site visit to customer plants may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in yield management or process yield optimization.
• Ability to liaise with multiple departments to gather information for projects.
• Familiarity with 8D problem solving, quality reporting, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage, improve and monitor process yield and quality.
• Liaise with departments to obtain information for projects or customer inquiries.
• Prepare 8D reports and improvement reports on a monthly basis.

To provide monthly quality improvement report to customers.

Update FMEA, control plan and work instructions.

To provide disposotion of on-hold reel and investigate the cause.

To follow up on daily line manufacturing activities and provide solution for any process issue that may arise.

Perform on-site visit and verification at customer plan to resolve quality issue
