Keen Point (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor product quality across manufacturing, support NPI and mass production, and perform FAI and process validation. The role involves quality risk assessment, data analysis to improve FPY and defect rates, and maintaining inspection standards and control plans.

Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), trial runs and mass production.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI), process validation and quality risk assessment.
Investigate process quality issues using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram and other quality tools.
Analyze process quality data and improve FPY, defect rate and rework performance.
Develop and maintain inspection standards, Control Plans and work instructions.
Verify product dimensions, appearance and reliability requirements.
Conduct process audits and monitor implementation of quality improvement actions.
Participate in PFMEA, ECN review and process change evaluations.
Support customer quality investigations and provide technical analysis to the CQE team.
Ensure compliance with 6S, safety and quality management systems.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Quality Management or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Process Quality Engineering (PQE) or related quality role.
Experience in plastic injection, spray coating or electroplating manufacturing is preferred.
Familiar with New Product Introduction (NPI), First Article Inspection (FAI) and process validation.
Strong knowledge of process quality control and continuous improvement.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to use quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram and PFMEA.
Able to read engineering drawings and CAD drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
